We, artist and writer, are lifelong

friends, ordinary women who have always 

shared a passion for life's creative

outlets.  We have supported one another 

throughout the years, in our family 

lives, in our painting and writing lives,

 and in all the changes and challenges

that have come our way.

This collection of paintings and essays is

our gifts to all those in similar

circumstances; those who may have an 

idea that needs nurturing, a problem

that requires understanding, or perhaps

a tender spot that deserves compassion.

We are enormously pleased to offer you 

this collaboration.

We hope you are stimulated, amused,

moved, and perhaps even provoked, by

some of what lies between these covers.
